We want the entire weekend to be a festival of speaking where every member always has access to opinions, materials and learning about communication. This is the current list of stalls, displays and interactive exhibits featured in our “Speakers Marketplace”!

Fife Cultural Trust – Fife Cultural Trust provides creative, entertaining and learning experiences that enhance the quality of life, through partnerships and in our museums, galleries, libraries and theatres.

Storytelling / Raconteur Contest – Kirkcaldy Speakers Club continues the ongoing discussion about how the ASC can support and develop the cultured use of narrative and the skills of storytelling.

Poems for Doctors

Scottish Poetry Library – This promises to be one of our most interactive stalls including an actual boat coming filled with literary resources and a listening pod of poems written with and for doctors and nurses.

National Training Team – Highlighting the work of the dedicated team of learning and development specialists available to all ASC clubs all year round.

Conference 2020 – Information on the next conference available all weekend.

Education – Tom Scott is eager to highlight all of the tools and support materials available to members including flowcharts, timing sheets, games, pathways, ASC Education blog, training grids, certificates, cheat sheets, role info, our event calendar and much more!

Materials – Malcolm McKechnie is available with all the ASC branded materials including guides, flyers, badges… everything!

Rhetoric Game – Marketplace volunteers will show you how the game works and how it can be used in multiple ways and settings to develop public speaking skills… let’s get playing!

World Speech Day – Simon Gibson, WSD founder will be taking questions, showing members how to engage with the day and strengthening our new partnership.

Vocal Coach – Laura Westring is a speechwriter, ghostwriter and leadership communications specialist who has helped politicians, CEOs and early stage businesses to find their voice and move their audience. Vocalcoach event coordinator Karen will be on hand on Sunday to answer any questions you have about Laura’s public speaking training for women.
